British Superbikes - no sign of recession there!

Usual exciting action from round 1 at Brands. Seems to be no recession either, unlike the one thats effecting top level karting. 34 on the grid for the Superbike race, 39 I think for the Superstock 600, 49 registered for Superstick 1000 (couldnt count them all on the track)and I reckon 35 for the Supersports. Add in a healthy mid 30's number for the junior class 125 for the 13+ kids and you have a very healthy looking setup. Is it no wonder its so healthy when theres such a good package of prize money, trade support etc and a defined path for the kids wanting to be the next Stoner, Rossi or Lorenzo. Karting, and Car racing, need to have a think about what makes for good racing.
