Saxon do produce an extra roller for endurance racing.
It tensions on the free side of the belt.

I have looked at the mod and see no need if you are just sprinting.

The other issue with the belt is stones getting in... careful taping up around the bottom edge(obvious gaps) would be an answer.

Could you drop me a line if you find out what happened to your cam belt...(break/lost teeth/came off)
