hello there

My current orange contract will be due to expire in mid April. I am starting now to look at some handsets that I might be interested in and consider before I want to contact the 'disconnections/retention' services.

I approximately use around 50 to 70 minutes (200 allowance) and 30 to 50 texts (Unlimited) per month. I would like to keep the minutes and text as previously because some months I use more so I want to keep enough in reserve. I currently do not use the internet on my phone due to not having the 'bundle' for it. The phone is only used really for calls and texts. My current loyalty discounts mean that I am paying under 10 pound for the contract.

current phone nokia 6700 classic. This phone I must admit has been reasonable, fairly rugged to the drops that have happened to it, however there has been the constant bluetooth problems associated with this handset

if I were to renew, I would like discount to price, same minutes and texts but internet usage added. The handset must have bluetooth and connect to my cars bluetooth. Having only had a brief look at what they are offering online I would expect I can do much better calling them.

Had a very brief look at the htc range and will expect to be having a demo on their phones.

If anybody has a recommendation for handsets that may be of interest I would be very grateful to hear your views.

from this I can then look at reviews and go to places to have a look/demo. hopefully this will help me get informed before I call to possibly upgrade. In the past when i've called to upgrade/cancel I didnt really prepare myself for it properly so I think I got a better deal than I had but maybe not got the best dealavailable. I am looking at information on haggling as well but any advice here would also be very much appreciated.
