You ask me to: CLEARLY state that the use of 'Brit' is ALWAYS less of an insult that ANY use of the word 'Paki'

this would be a valid question if I had said or implied any thing of the sort......but I didn't.

Can you point out where in the statement it says or implies that 'Brit' is always less of an insult than any use of the word 'Paki'?

For me to say which word was most insulting I would have to know the CONTEXT in which they where used..... as you point out.

The statement was a response to Newshound writing this:

“`Paki` is clearly a shortening of the country `Pakistan`......so where on earth is the difference in my being called a `Brit`? or an Australian being called an `Aussie`?.....Racism is racism surely, but no one would ever even CONSIDER complaining about the second two examples..”

He asks “where on earth is the difference”. It is so obvious where the difference is, that even you spotted it. Now you have pointed it out, and given an example, perhaps he will see where the difference is. I doubt he would have accepted it from me, but he might accept it from his hero.

As an aside, I did smile at your attempt to make 'HUGE intellect' derogatory, almost as if it was me who said it. And I liked the use of 'murderous sc*m' in front of 'Brits'. Its difficult to imagine any context where 'murderous sc*m' would be classed as not offensive.
