Race direction will select 'points of use' for each circuit. Driver can only deploy when within 1 sec of car in front - confirmed by 'ready' light in cockpit (controlled by race direction). Wing reverts back on application of brakes. Personally, I'd like to see it left to the driver to promote opportunistic passing attempts rather than predictability guided by race CONTROL.
