To be fair to Rob, unless Ferrari had some form of pre-arranged code for such situations, he was limited in how he could go about telling Massa to move over. He could have been more creative on his tone of voice, but I honestly don't think that would have eeen enough. Don't forget too that Massa made the 'move over' very obvious. He could have duked it out for a few laps, locking wheels into corners and sliding wide etc... to make it look like he was defending.

Bottom line is that Massa's a world class racing driver and Rob Smedley's a highly respected race engineer. They work as a tight pair with the sole objective to win races. Neither came to 'Formula One' to be involved in the charade they were asked to perform on Sunday last. If either loose their jobs for that, even more shame on Ferrari.
