He was ahead yes, but he turned into Webber, not the other way round. W's steering does not turn at all until he tries to avoid V. He did not have to give the line as the next corner was a left, which is the position V was in. Had it of been a right he would have had to conceed the corner and do everything he could to avoid a collition and not hinder V. Think the problem was V knew W could just sit on the outside of him and have the line for the next immediate corner which was a right, let the car drift out on his normal line and put V down the pit road. Just the exuberance of youth I believe, seen at kart tracks all around the country...
