Whilst we're on the subject. Since as most of the races during the year are going to be dry (now we're back in Europe) let's just focus on the two weekends that have been fully dry so far this year. Bahrain and Spain.
Schumacher finished 6th and 4th in the two mentioned races respectively.
That would give him 20 points in the championship.
Now that we've established that let's compare him to all the other top 4 team drivers stand in the championship if it was just these two races;
1st Fernando Alonso (43 pts) 2nd Mark Webber (29 pts) 3rd Sebastian Vettel (27 pts) 4th Felipe Massa (26 pts) 5th Michael Schumacher (20 pts) 6th Jenson Button (16 pts) 7th Lewis Hamilton (12 pts) 8th Nico Rosberg (10 pts)
So now that we've eliminated the "weird" races from this years season so far. He is infact only 9 points behind the lead Red Bull driver (the fastest car on the grid) and ahead of the two recent world champions in the McFduct cars.
Not bad for someone who the british is saying is a washed up looser. If Mercedes are indeed developing the car round Michael rather than Nico, maybe it's the right decision to do so.
