A guy i knew in S Africa nipped off on his bike from the beach to get some food. He was wearing nothing except swim shorts and flip flops ( no shirt or helmet !). He came off on a gravel patch ( odd because he was a competitive speedway rider ?).
In hospital he looked like the Invisible Man ..bandaged literally from head to toe !
but he was still lucky to survive.
