Nope don't agree, If you look at the onboard of the pit lane entry, Lewis appeared to make no attempt to correct the "mistake" which even a 8 year old cadet would do.

Just look at Alonso's during the 2007 Brazilian Grand Prix (the race which counted). He was miles off the ferrari pace which he hadn't been all year and there was Hamilton's pitstop a few laps from home when it looked like he could get back up to the required postion to win the title (and no, I don't buy the petty stories McLaren and Lewis gave out at the time by being miscalculated srartegy decisions). IMO, no one can make up a 21 point gap like Raikonnen did without the help of the hand of god (or should I say, the F1 piranha club).

Formula 1 has become a racing version of WWF in the last 10 or so years. Scripted writed to get people talking about it and watching.
