i think you mean the evo is braking early to avoid the understeer ...... having tracked 7's for many years i stopped driving them on the road when we went sub 3 secs to 60, and eating bike became boring .....

he could find kart like performance for way under 10k if he tries ...

and you have a K series Superlight ? wait till you experience a duratec with some torque , thats one of the reasons our elise went in favour of a 911
