..organised crime !
I have always felt that insurance was a legalised crime !
They are one of the biggest financial con's going.
Its not much more than a protection racket !! preying on peoples insecurity and weakness.
When i was young, the "Insurance man" used to call each week to collect the policy payment... i used to see him as exactly the same character as the "stand over" men in the Chicago gangster movie s on the TV at the time.
