Ch 5 is not broadcast to all areas of the UK on Analouge (Standard) Television.

You have probably tuned into a more distant Transmitter further inland.

There are ways to improve you analouge reception but can be costly.

In a nutshell, if you live along the East/Southeast part of England the channel is not transmitted there for geographical reasons to do with interferance to mainland Europeon viewers.

However, you will get perfect Chanel Five Reception with Sky, Cable or Digital TV where ever you live.
