Given the incidents of the last week, the penalty is fair

On saturday you have drivers like Barichello saying safety has to be improved following a freakish accident. The next day you have a car with a known loose front wheel allowed to carry on round the circuit until it comes off.

The pitcrew knew, the team on the pitlane knew and should have radioed to Alonso and Alonso could feel and see what was happening and they all hoped it would hold until he got back to the pits.

What if a car had been overtaking on the right hand side when the wheel finally let go. It does not bare thinking about.

Hope Massa is ok, seems to be conflicting reports, some say his condition is improving others say life threatening
