I agree that perfect prose is not an essential for a forum. However, he is in effect posting an abbreviated Curriculum Vitae, where attention to detail is paramount. The use of punctuation certainly would not go amiss, and resorting to "text speak" is a big NO! You can forgive the occasional typing error, but misspelling and lack of capitals does not instil confidence. For example, I assume that wigen should really be Wigan.
Instead of
"Hello my name is Ashley Harris I was just wondering if any want a kart mechanic I have a NVQ level 2 and I have bee racing karts my self for 4 years at three sisters racetrack in wigen the class I was running is junior and senor TKM with I hope I can give my race experience 2 up cumin kart champions you can contact me email ashleytkm35@hotmail.co.uk for more info thanks Ashley Harris ps... my mechanic fee is free I just want 2 help people at the weekend"
he could have written
"Hello my name is Ashley Harris. I am enquiring whether anyone would like to make use of a kart mechanic. I have an NVQ level 2 and I have been racing karts myself for 4 years, at Three Sisters racetrack at Wigan. The classes I raced in were Junior and Senior TKM. I hope I can pass on my race experience to up and coming kart champions. You can contact me, via email, at ashleytkm35@hotmail.co.uk for more info. Thanks Ashley Harris Ps... My mechanic fee is free I just want to help people at the weekend."
Still not perfect prose or even grammatically correct, but it would certainly give a better impression. Still, good luck to him in his endeavours.
