Currently there have only been 26 confirmed cases in Mexico, with 7 confirmed deaths. Outside of Mexico there has been one death of a Mexican child in Texas. The US currently has 91 confirmed cases with that one death of the Mexican child. The UK has five confirmed cases, all of whom are responding to treatment well.
Its really nothing to get stressed about when normal flu kills approx 36000 people every year in the US alone. The WHO's Phase 5 declaration just clarifies that it travels from person to person. They have made the point of adding that the majority of infected recover without any medical assistance. This isn't Spanish Flu, the symptoms aren't the same and it death rate is thankfully very small in comparison.
However it may mutate and be a problem in 6months or a year. But I don't think theres anything we could do about it anyway, you could only limit it.
