we have a huge issue with road saftey education across the board , 30 years ago plus we had major road safety advertising ...

kids had the green cross code hammered home , all school kids did cycling proficiency tests , nowadays , kids ride where they like , adults on pushbikes ignore the law , we have less visable policing , more cars and more people .
We have a great influx of foriegn drivers,i see daily accidents with forign lorries on the M25.

All sucessive govenments have ignored the amount of constant road safty publicity and live policing , in favour of cameras ...

we have a crouded contry with people not properly educated in how to drive ,coupled to the safer more cosy cars .

Install a spike on the stearing wheel aimed at the chest and remove all airbags , at a wild guess after the intial rise accident rates would drop

Lets stop harping on about green issues with regard to motorists and really push a subject that needs addressing , that and lets stop blindly believing that its just speed that kills .... yes it does but our fastest roads are our safest ... address the subject head on .. I have driven over a million miles in my lifetim and i am not that old , and i would love a crack at really making people aware of what really kills people
