Your job has clearly biased your view about the effects of SPEEDING on accidents.

Regarding the police officer I have already made it quite clear that on the information presented he was going far too fast. But what has that got to do with SPEEDING. Or even that speed kills? It is simply a red herring.

Now I'll ask you the same question as I have asked all those in support of draconian measures against SPEEDING.

a)In what percentage of FATAL (lets keep it simple) accidents do YOU think someone was speeding
b)At a given instant in time what percentage of drivers are ACTUALLY speeding

And remember the people judging these matters are trained accident investigators - who see just as many (probably more) serious accidents than you do.

Now Itpro, Tangler and Vic have all refrained from answering this question. Is that because it unfortunately conflicts with their prejudices?
How about YOU? Or will you avoid that question too? And if so, honestly ask yourself why.

And taking up your offer? What possible INFORMATION would it convey? I know mangled bodies and twisted metal look extremely unpleasant. You are trying to evoke the sort of EMOTIONAL reaction that you clearly have. But purely emotional reactions do not lead to rational decisions - in fact quite the contrary.
