I agree with itpro here aswell anyone that has actually viewed the video will see how unacceptable his driving was.

First he was pursuing a car that turned out not to be suspicious! Second the speed he was travelling was not needed to catch a car doing 30mph. Also on the local news here in newcastle it showed the crest of the hill and there is noway the group that was crossing the road would have seen a car coming and it may have been difficult to hear the car as they dont have loud tuned exhaust systems those volvo's are quiet even at high revs.

I regularly see police cars travelling at excessive speed in 30mph zones with no lights or sirens! Often appearing to be travelling at near 100mph

I only hope that if this officer gets appropriate punsihment for his crime that other police officers will take note and stop driving at excess speed without lights or sirens!
