Having just watched the nextdoor neighbour attempt to wheelspin his way up his drive in an escort van, i would agree with that. Bit of wheelspin.. more throttle.... more wheelspin.. slipping further down his drive... more throttle!!! After a quick word and a suggestion that maybe less would equal more in this situation, he's back parked on his drive.

There was a two car pileup at the bottom of my road yesterday where one car had slid all the way down from top to bottom into another car that had hit a tree at the bottom. Having watched the second car, the women inside had gone down an ICEY road at exactly the same speed as on a dry road, and had then kept her foot firmly PLANTED on the brakes as she slid all the way down the road. Chains on tyres aren't even needed... common sense IS.
