Theres been a 36% drop in new car sales (41% for BMW, 57% for Merc) this november compared to last november. Aston are cutting drops, Jaguar are cutting jobs. All the manufacturers have been running sneaky 3 or 4 day weeks claiming the factories are having maintenance on the other days so they don't make more cars then can be sold. And thats been happening for months.

But the car industry has been around a long time and been through boom and bust eras many times. New car sales are no where near as low as 1991.
