Try reading what people write instead of what you want to read into it.
I've never said that I disagree with the strategy I believe is being taken by governments to reduce emissions, dependency on fossil fuels, rampant consumerism and the rise of the developing world etc. etc.
These issues need to be addressed, but 'the people' won't accept being told to stop buying new cars or flying everywhere, just as China and India won't be told to stop developing, so a convenient excuse (strangely rhyming with 'an inconvenient truth') is required. So, just like they used WMD to justify the war in Iraq to the masses who couldn't be expected to understand or accept the real motives. So we have climate change to justify 'emissions reduction'.
Unlike yourself though, Im prepared to admit I could be completely wrong and talking utter B*****ks, only time will tell.
