So with the new cars comes different abilities in the racing drivers to make the most of them. With the massive amounts of grip will the weaker drivers be able to keep the pace over a race distance?

Alonso seems to be posting some promising times given the early season problems they have had. I'd expect over the race distance he will move up the grid, in the past he always was a great racer over a full race distance when the cars had more grip.

Rest of the grid seems pretty much as expected, Williams bit disappointing with the pace.

It will be interesting to see how drivers, especially the younger drivers are able to cope with the grip around a circuit like Spa. I think we will be seeing some absolutely knackered drivers pouring in sweat at the end of the races this season which is good. Lewis was 5.5 seconds faster than last year, what would that amount to over a race distance? Must be about 5 or 6 minutes faster, ha ha.

Fingers crossed it's a good season.

Chris.
