But it didn't last their projected number of laps.

It could have been dangerous or even fatal for Vettel.

The tyres are hand made so obviously there are constructional differences.

I wouldn't like to see a game of safety roulette being introduced.

Perhaps they can take the Williams/Bottas idea of mixed tyres and run (no pun intended) with that at the next meeting.
