So, today's qualifying;
This shouldn't be spoiling it for anyone, but Alonso was just under 3 seconds off the ultimate pace of Lewis, allow a little bit for track "coming good" etc and we're still looking at the same 2.5 second gap we've seen all year. Honda are going to close that up this year? Don't make me laugh! Before the season started I saw some idiot on another forum tell us that Sauber were going to beat Merc at every race this year.
I laughed then because he didn't understand performance engineering and I'm still laughing at all you lot with the misplaced faith in Honda.
They're a financial minow (they can't afford F1)and all the talent is being used elsewhere.
They ran away last time, they'll run away this time, just like BMW (who could afford it)& Toyota (who could afford it if they wanted to)and listening to JB the chassis might be a bit of a hound too- hardly a suprise looking back at McCa's recent history.
Honda:nowhere near as good as most of you would like to believe
