Stop fiddling with it and leave it alone for 10 years. No changes at all for at least 10 years. Costs will then reduce as the optimum set-ups are found.

Knee jerk changes are what has ruined the sport. Stability will allow the field to close up and reduce the costs due to efficiency savings in development and parts production. You can't be all that efficient if the rules are changing every 5 minutes because once the rules are changed you then have to go back to the drawing board and the drawing board is the beginning of another expensive upgrade.

Just heard on BBC that Ecclestone backs Horners suggestions for slowing Merc down. Unbelievable how they can get punished for doing a good job. Pretty pathetic really.
