You never replied to my last post on the matter back then either. To quote Guy Martin... (again)...

'The reason I do it is because if you get it wrong, it'll kill you. If you think it's too dangerous then go home and cut your grass and leave us to it.'

YES I'd support the TKM Festival if two drivers were killed per year (providing they were over 18 and were fully aware of the risks)

YES I'd support F1 returning to the Nurburgring. F1 is probably overly safe these days and the general public do not respect or enjoy the spectacle nearly as much as they did when drivers were true heros and risked life and limb in the pursuit of being the best.

NO I do not support people who think it's their duty to tell others what they can and can't do with their lives! These men(and women.. I have a good female friend whos ambition is to race at the TT) are adults, and stopping them racing at the TT will ONLY result in them doing something else equally as dangerous but probably more illegal to get that same rush or high.

They do something I'm not prepared to do... that barely anyone has the ba*ls to do. They live on the fine line between life and death for one week a year while providing a spectacle that I am thankful for. I travelled to Ireland to see the Ulster TT last year, and it was quite simply mind blowing, and the best thing I've ever seen. I am very very jealous of the people who got to see F1 cars go around the old Nurburgring, and I'm sad that I'll never get that chance.

Go cut your grass you miserable fool and leave the adrenalin seekers to live their lives. No one lives forever, and for some people its best they lose their lives in the pursuit of something they love, than in a hospital due to some slow progressing disease etc.

I've recently started sky diving, and am doing my AFF course very shortly. I have many family and friends who think it's too dangerous but respect my decision to do it. I only hope the world stays this way so we can choose the way we live our lives, and not dictated by risk averse sad old men like yourself.
