I did NOT pose the question.... 'should it be allowed'. The one I posed was:-

'Why should it N*O*T be allowed at Old Spa, Old Nurburgring, Old Reims, Old Spa Francorchamps... etc., etc., BUT still be allowed at the TT'

The question was about the COMPARISON. If you think that F1 was RIGHT stopping the Nordschliefe race (and god knows if you do!) why would it be right to let the TT continue? Stop both or neither..... but be CONSISTENT!

The correct comparison to mountain climbing would be if they banned climbing K2 but NOT Everest.

I could not address the mountain climbing comparison, directly, that YOU posed as I can't find the figures of the number of mountain climbers world-wide and the relative frequency of their climbs nor how long each climb lasts. I thus don't have the DATA to compare it with a two week, 2 hours a day motor cycle race where the number of entrants IS known. You could just have easily asked about toad deaths which are VASTLY higher...... but drivers use the roads 24/7/365 and there are VASTLY more drivers. Thus, you compare them by factoring in the time and the numbers! Get the figures on mountain climbing and come back to me with them.... I can't find them..... It is my STRONG suspicion that VASTLY more mountain climbers are out there EVERY DAY and are there for 24 hours of (most) days. Thus the death rate.... although alarming.,.... is not in the LEAGUE of the TT. However, I CANNOT PROVE that as I don't have the figures!

Amazing how you complain I didn't include an answer on mountain climbing but YOU didn't answer on Bare Knuckle Boxing, Gladiatorial Combat or Russian Roullete! Consistent?

And you STILL can't do it, can you? I asked you to TEST your reply by replacing ' the TT' with one of the above. All the points you make were IDENTICAL to those spoken in defence of Nurburgring (and the others). If you want to answer my questions.... just TRY replacing 'the TT' with 'Nurburgring F1' before you 'post' it. If your argument DOES NOT HOLD for the 'Ring' explain why it DOES hold for the TT. And that, on it's own, should show you why your argument is invalidated..... by YOURSELF!

I have tried to answer your point with all the data I can get...... now ANSWER MINE!
