Ian, we all know that insurance companies will try to get out of a claim if they can. We also know that billions are paid out every year in successful claims. You can't insure a motor racing event and then dispute a claim because drivers were doing something that is explicitly allowed in the rules and everybody knows is common practice. Refer to my earlier example of your car radio. I notice that I have made the same point twice now so it's probably the time to agree to diagree and carry on mashing those kerbs.
And yes, if I owned a circuit I would be happy to allow people to use the kerbs unless my insurance policy specifically excluded cover for such practice. I doubt we're about to see circuit owners change their stance on this.
