That's not a fair comparison:-
1) The friendly, family-ness of the track doesn't alter the risk of a dog escaping. Yes, there are4 less people and less dogs at smaller tracks.... that doesn't alter the fact that 1 or more dogs could run free.
2) The size and power of the vehicle only affects the damage done to the DOG, not the racer. For the driver, we really do NOT need to hit a decent sized golden retriever with ZERO protection.
3) Damage done to the karter by an impact is one matter, the fact that the driver may swerve to avoid the dog means is another major cause of potential accidents.
Dogs and race vehicle should get the CHANCE to mix. If you have a dog, keep it at home!
