I think the way it was notified did leave a few people in the lurch as the decision was sent out on Thursday evening (or maybe Friday) before a race meeting which did not leave those who usually take their animals with them to find alternative options.

Also the reason for the initial post was just trying to find out of there was a specific reason for the decision (be it that realisation has dawned on the saefty side or if there has in fact been something that has sparked the decision).

Not saying it's correct or incorrect just wondering why now.

Agree with your points on safety and I must say when we got involved with karting I was surprised to see dogs in the paddock.
