Right, having carried out a litle experiment for the last week i can now confirm it is impossible to maintain a 2 second/2 chevron gap to the vehicle in front for any sustained period.

Whenever i backed of to create to gap it was soon filled, you back off off a bit more and you get overtaken, so you pull out, speed up and overtake then pull in, you then find you've done the same to the car behind as you've just had done to you.

So along comes plod lights flashing sirens blaring.....tell me - whos at fault for hogging or tailgating?

The new law will probably remain unenforcable, if anyone thinks different pray tell, especially itpro because i can't see how it can
