For the oldies amongst us.... I went to Paul's funeral service in Waltham Abbey Church and the place was packed out. The 'Ex-Great-and-Good' were there including Mickey Allen whom I've not seen for years. It's good to be in the presence of karting 'gods' again. Reg is now extremely frail and it's a sobering sight to see such a huge man, both as a physical presence and a character brought low.

Paul's music was all Beatles tunes and it was a respectful and moving service.

Thanks, Paul, for all you'd done for karting: a well respected, admired and loved man.

I'll not see his like again.
