What a great race! Whenever do you see BOTH sides of 'following team orders' played out so clearly?
For me, it shows what a complete SH*T Helmut Marko IS! Vettel will NOT be punished in any serious way becasue Helmut will prevent it!
Did you notice Helmut's comment that Hamilton is the (declared) Team Leader at Mercedes? Remember, Bernie was asked to negotiate the deal between Hamilton and Red Bull so Red Bull will KNOW what Hamilton's terms for joining the team were. No wonder Nico was not too happy!
Mark will whine (as usual) and STILL be slower than Seb (which Seb PROVED again today!). Why is everyone surprised: Mark had taken this stuff for YEARS! Who EVER thinks that Sunday was the FIRST time that Seb has used his No.1 driver status to be declared the winner?
Listen closely to what Mark said when he was annoyed: he stated that he followed team orders when it was NOT LEGAL to follow team orders (a few years back).
At least Kimi didn't get to ask Romain to move over for him........ (Hold it..... I know he would have had he been close enough!!!!)
Towards the end of the season, who'll bet that Mark does not 'punish' Seb for today's performance? He won't be a Red Bull driver at the end of the season and will thus probably retire..... why NOT ram Seb into the weeds when he gets a chance... which he will! Seb was always Mark's enemy... when there's nothing to lose... why NOT pay him back?
What a great season this will be! What fun!
