As Ian (Itpro) has rightly said,batten down the hatches,there IS worse to come.

1/I have 1 month ago at the age of 65 retired after 50 yrs of working and paying my taxes.
My State pension was paid into the bank yesterday,and instead of 3 weeks i have received TWO. This is because the government has decided that by some new weird calculation that does not appear in Pension leaflets or website information,the last two numbers of your N.Insurance No and their payment day decides if you lose a week when you start on a state pension.

2/ I have just asked how I am to manage with a week short. They will give me a Ł25 hardship NO Jobs Centre loan,which will be taken back next month.
Whilst at the No Jobs Centre recently,a family of "visitors" to these shores who had been here two weeks were given Ł400 cash,3 months B+B until a house can be found for them,food vouchers and clothes vouchers for Asda,the services of an ENGLISH tutor until the kids could be found a faith school,oh and taxi vouchers to run them round.
They couldn't!!! speak English so through the Language Consultant (Ł150 an hour),whoever was under the black pillar box kept telling him in ENGLISH !! it was not enough cash money could they claim more with some other forms they had

3/ Postman has just dropped a 2 letters through,the first is more like a ~~~~ing bomb. I have a tax demand for Ł6000 BIK,this is not tax due on that amount its for the full amount. Turns out my ex boss has not been doing taxation properly for the past 4 years,he has bailed out of the company and done a runner to Michegan USA,the tax say they can go back 5 years,they are coming to see how I can pay them back.
The above Family are getting all these benefits as they were allegedly persecuted in their own country,should I go back to the NO Jobs Centre with my missus in a pillar box and the grandchildren in tow and use the "I am being persecuted in my own country" excuse.
4/ The other letter is from The Ministry of Pensions !!! ,they want money owed by my mother. They want Ł367 back as when she died recently the money had gone into the bank the day she died.Why mum did dad get shot down 3 times

"Great Britain" no longer Great,more like "Little Britain" in the world scheme of things, we are becoming a 3rd world country,with a despot in charge,people on food aid,people freezing to death,Cameroon threatening the cancellation of pensioners bus passes and heating allowances(scheduled for 1 month before next election,does he not realise its the pensiners who vote,most others dont) charity shops full to the doors,lots of the legal and illegal immigrants wanting to go back as benefit cuts bite on everyone,and how is Petrol and Diesel dearer here than little Mediteranean Islands who don't make their own fuel

GB RIP, the Olympics' boom has bust,just like the country,even the Scots want out.
