I'd like to get a heater to keep our awning a bit warmer that the temps we are experiencing outside at the moment. Rather than getting a more powerful generator to drive a 3KW heater, another option would be one of these propane space heaters (e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DRAPER-19751-40-900-BTU-12kW-230V-PROPANE-MIX-SPACE-HEATER-/130803181646?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Hearing_Cooling_Air&hash=item1e747a284e). However I'm concerned about having a naked flame, even if its inside the heater housing, inside the awning where there could be petrol fumes etc. Am I being unduly concerned ? What are people using (if anything) ?
