I suspect that Grosjean's punishment was subjectively affected by the identity of the other cars that were taken out, but according to the official statements he was ultimately punished for "a serious breach of regulations" presumably relating to the catch-all rule of 'not driving in a manner consistent with general safety'. That and the fact that he's done it before.
Good decision in my view because it sends a clear message to all of them.

Maybe one donut is not enough in this case! Perhaps you should allocate a whole bag.....
All the same it was very entertaining.
