Paul.......

Do we both accept that, in THAT case (your suggestion), the conveyor belt is completely superfulous? Pulled or pushed, being wet or dry, being black or yellow, made of paper of steel, etc., etc., etc.. None of those things affect the planes ability to fly. If that WAS the case, why didn't they just pull the 'C.Belt' ALONGSIDE the plane? It would have had the same effect! What IS the effect that pulling the C.Belt UNDER the plane was supposed to demonstrate........???

Logically, there's ZERO point to HAVING a C.Belt if it were NOT to be intended to allow the plane to STAND STILL (relative to the Earth) while having a NOMINAL (compared to the BELT) 'forward speed', while STILL remaining entirely STATIONARY (compared to the air/ground).

If I am WRONG about this, please state WHAT the C.Belt was SUPPOSED to be doing. Why not just place the plane's wheels on a set of rollers and SPIN the wheels at the required rate...... who needs a C.Belt to test THAT?

No....... as usual, Mythbusters got it WRONG!

Oh..... and it's SO Nice to meet someone ELSE as thick as you in our friend BFD...... a relation by some chance?
