No. Not a sinle concern.

Having also voted Conservative for 40 years means that I have been of voting age for 40 years too. It also means I've seen enough of the world to understand that ALL politicians say and do what they think the public want to hear.

Yes, David WAS 'in bed' with the media.... just like every OTHER politician has been. To test your knowledge of history, perhaps, you'd like to remind me why Churchill put the unelected Beaverbrook (news paper owner) in HIS cabinet. That would be like David putting Murdoch in HIS cabinet! This stuff is NOT new and we ALL should have worked this out, earlier! The fault is OUR stupidity!

David has discovered that the public WANT him to be just a bloke like everyone else and being forgetful BUT appearing to be OPEN about it is playing well with the voiters, so far. That's why we got the 'daughter left at pub' story this week!

One difference is that Blair and Brown simply LIED through THEIR evidence. At least David LOOKS more convincing! Which one of us REALLY believes Brown did NOT know about Charlie Whelen's and Damien McBride's 'spinning' against Blair? Brown conveniently couldn't remember his instructions to those two!

Sam did quite a good job of getting the facts to David for the afternoon slot!

Most importantly, David did NOT lie to the public to get us to go to war!
