Fair point on some of your comments Ian but like QOT says no engine can be truly equal it’s just not possible to reproduce every part in every engine the same, anyway surely a class like this is already running Easykart? And from the Easykart meetings I visited last year the grids did not look full never mind annihilate all the other classes. My point was that motorsport has always been and should always be a combination of engineering skill / technical ability and the driver, I have a very good friend who won the TVR Tuscan championship several times and he will honestly admit to anyone he wasn’t the best driver in the class but understood the car and how to set the car up better than anyone else because he took the time to do so and that’s what made him win.
