No one is trying to stop you (Andy and QoT) from running classes where engine building is 'king'.

However, many of us also know that we neither have the budget for paying for the world's best engine work nor the technical skills of producing our OWN world's best engines. That's why many would like at least ONE G*E*N*U*I*N*E*L*Y fair class where the engines where HONESTLY equal. It CAN be done!

By all means, keep the classes for the likes of you, Dave and the rest..... but that should NOT preclude offering an HONESTLY fair engine class!

However, I suspect a class where the engines WERE 'equal' would simply anihilate the other classes. There are VASTLY more people who'd like their children (or themselves) to race in a HONEST/limited class than there are of YOU lot!

Even then, with a 'controlled engine' class, you could STILL prepare the chassis, etc.!
