its always a pain when regulation comes in that enforces you to prove your capability to perform a certain task

this does potentially make things safer however, as a new driver wont be able to hop into a 7.5 tonne vehicle without knowing the extra associated dangers.

hopefully a motorway driving test/cert is on the way also.
