Er is that why the VOSA spec and approved 13 to 7 pin adapter is also now needed by Jan 1,as they have realised ,SURPRISE SURPRISE, most cars and trailers in UK towing, have 7 pin sockets , check new trailers,horseboxes etc,7 pin plugs !!!!, it appears as if its only caravans mostly here in last 3-5 years have 13 pin. Also now required is a gas spray to show any leaks on LPG cars,I only know as I have supplied over 200 of these light boards and aerosols in the last 3 weeks as all my local garages have left it to the last minute due to waiting for local VOSA MOT insectors to confirm.

Latest INFO is the Government/Ministry of Transport are still pressing ahead with 4,2,2.
This is an MOT after new a car is 4 years old,then every 2 years !!!! disaster,more accidents,mechanically dangerous cars on the road,more accidents etc.
They spent (under Labour)Ł1.5 million on an enquiry/consultation) into this 3 years ago and decided it was not the way to go,now they (under Conservative) have decided it looks the way to go ,VOTE catcher.
With this and scrappage getting rid of over 200,000 over 5year old cars ,owners not servicing cars,new buyers illegally made to think they have to go to the dealer for service otherwise it invalidates there warranty,your local garages will disappear if this goes ahead.
Less garages = less work for VOSA staff and more VOSA test stations and inspectors going.
