Lets face it Bernie would allow Libya to hold a GP and would allow Gadaffi to give the trophy if the price was right. This is F1 currently. Its all about the money money money as the tune goes.

BUT I have said this before and I will say it again that I do not feel that the BBC should spend such a huge amount of LICENCE payers money on a niche sport. It could buy the rights to BTCC for much less the same as it has Moto GP. If the BBC was allowed a commercial partner to bid for the rights so they were sponsered in the same way
ITV used to then different but we can't assume it gives good value for money just because we enjoy it.

If I want to watch the latest films I make sure I have sky movies and if I want to watch top (or in this seasons case 2nd division) football I get sky sports. The BBC is an outdated notion and needs to be able to raise funds. I just hope they do the split screen for the adverts.
