We had someone try to break into our shed a few years back. Trouble for him was that my dad is a light sleeper so we jumped him and locked him in the shed til the police turned up!

What we did with the shed was bought a 30quid alarm and set that up, stuck horse bolts (think that's it, the ones you can't undo from the outside) on the hinges, stuck bars across the windows and stuck three massive padlocks on it. Strangely we've never needed them.
