I can't see F1 going on to Sky any time soon. The teams still rely heavily on sponsorship and this will drop substantially if the sport went off free to air TV. Sky would almost have to guarantee the teams the same level of income as the sponsors currently in F1 provide and that just isn't going to happen even with Murdoch behind it. I think this will just accelerate the signing of a new Concorde agreement with more of the profits going to the teams and the sport remaining free to air.
