I got the feeling a few years ago during the TT coverage, maybe three or four years ago that TV wanted to pick up on Guy and make something out of him, they just werent sure what vehicle to use to showcase his old fashioned talents. Now with the boat thing I think they have found their new Fred Dibnah. Strange though that the Bike paddocks are split very much down the middle on Guy. For what its worth I think anyone who brings positive PR to the unfeasibly brave sport of Motorcycle road racing is worth their weight in gold.
