People expect too much of ebay.
It's a gambling system. There is only a chance the item will be as described.
The 'proection' system is only a means for ebay to hang on to your money.
Even if you are clearly in the right you are bound by the Ebay decision.
Feedback is not security.
You can't even get a confirmed name and address of the seller to issue your own court proceedings.
