I would like to say a fond farewell to people who say they are leaving, or having a rest from this forum. These people have helped make this forum what it is today. I will miss their insightful and thought provoking musings. Just in the last couple of days I have learned more about Union Reps than I thought existed.......I certainly won't be trusting one of them again. You can rest assured that I for one will be ignoring kudos........coming on here with his outlandish opinion that racism shouldn't be tolerated. Then arguing his belief in a polite and rational way....... obviously a cretin.

I will however miss Newshound the most. I rely on him to tell me what I, and the rest of the forum, think and feel. I don't know how I will know I am bored with rational argument if he isn't here to tell me. His friend often tells me what I think, but he sometimes leaves for quite long periods. Perhaps to try new medications. (I live in hope of them working one day). I should also spare a thought for PaulM. How will he manage when the man who understands more than he could imagine leaves. But then I remember he is irrelevant because he won't tell us who he is.

But the most frightening aspect is that these departures might start a trend. We might end up with the unfortunate situation of pleasant people being able to voice their opinions without fear of abuse and intimidation. It truly is a sad day.
