Simple test for these things.... check them at www.snopes.com

Obviously, Snopes are NOT an infallible source but they will give a damned good guide.

I think this one is a simple, but amusing, 'Urban Legend'..... so do snopes and they give you some interesting 'history' about it.

Still.... nothing wrong with posting an amusing legend.... so long as no one believes it's true!
